A Boston Marathon
My brother ran the Boston Marathon this past spring, and when I shared this photo with him, I said I was sorry I took a double exposure, because it is so hard to find him in the fray. But he said, and I quote - “I think it’s art. It represents the daunting task of trying to find a single person running by in a crowd of thousands.“ Ugh. I live for hearing how a photograph I took can be interpreted by those I love and trust. It truly was an experience standing on the sideline, after an hour or so hopping trains along with many others, watching the tracker on the Boston Marathon app, hoping we make it in time to get a glimpse as he ran by, in the crowd of thousands.
We joined a shake-out for the runners the day before the marathon, and I tripped on a tree root, hence the bloody knee. It was very windy, and the spring blossoms, buds and blooms were as breath-taking as the run was.
